Facilities Manager (Mall or Commercial Building)

Our client in real estate and property management industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Facilities Manager to be part of their Facilities Management Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the Facilities Management (FM) team across both hard and soft services.
• Plan, organize, and manage preventive, corrective, and maintenance schedules to ensure smooth mall operations.
• Communicate facility-related activities, updates, and projects to management.
• Review, manage, and monitor all term contracts for building services and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and operational standards.
• Prepare and manage budgets for operational and capital expenditures, including procurement and cost control.
• Monitor and analyze utilities consumption trends to optimize energy and water efficiency.
• Oversee design and fit-out work, ensuring compliance with mall house rules and timely project completion.
• Maintain and update policies and procedures related to building operations, maintenance, and administration.
• Prepare and submit management reports, circulars, and approval papers monthly.
• Supervise and guide staff, consultants, and contractors to deliver quality work within set KPIs.
• Attend to and resolve critical building issues or projects with prompt follow-up actions.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in real estate, facilities operations, or mall management.
• Strong technical competency and hands-on experience in ACMV, Electrical, and Fire Protection systems.
• Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM); candidates with Senior FSM / GMM / GMFM certification have an added advantage.
