Shift Quality Control Laboratory Technician - Bukit Batok

Our Client provides high-class plastics and synthetic rubber for multiple industries, such as automotive, electronics, and more. They are looking for a Shift Quality Control Laboratory Technician in the Chemical industry.

• Support Solution Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SSBR) operations by performing analytical testing for product quality control, verification, audits, investigations, and troubleshooting.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as GC, HPLC, GPC, FTIR, Karl Fischer Titrators, Viscometers, and others, including calibration, troubleshooting, and training.
• Review and update Quality and Safety documentation, including Work Instructions, Risk Assessments, and relevant forms, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Perform general laboratory operations including inventory management, chemical preparation, safety and facility checks, 5S implementation, and housekeeping.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in Safety, Quality, Digitalization, and Operational Efficiency.

• Variable bonus (Depending on company and individual performance, on average is 2 months)

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

• NITEC/Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Inexperienced candidates with a relevant academic background are welcome to apply; training will be provided.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician
• Basic understanding of laboratory practices, analytical techniques, and chemical safety procedures.
• Able to work on a 12-hour shift from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm and vice versa

• Familiarity with laboratory instruments (e.g., GC, HPLC, GPC, FTIR, KF Titrators, Viscometers) is an advantage
• Experience handling Solution Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SSBR) operations
• Demonstrated interest in continuous improvement and willingness to participate in quality and safety initiatives.
