Relief Teacher (CCA – Afternoon Sessions)

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring relief teacher to conduct afternoon Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) for our toddlers in a small group setting. You will design and lead engaging, play-based activities grounded in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or Waldorf approaches, helping children explore creativity, independence, and social-emotional growth in a nurturing environment.

• Plan & Conduct CCA Sessions: Prepare and lead daily activities (art, music, movement, sensory play, or nature-inspired explorations) aligned with Montessori/Reggio/Waldorf pedagogy.
• Support Child Development: Encourage independence, creativity, and cooperative play in a safe and positive environment.
• Create an Engaging Atmosphere: Use storytelling, hands-on materials, and child-led exploration to make learning joyful.
• Ensure Safety & Wellbeing: Supervise children closely and maintain a safe and hygienic play/learning environment.
• Collaborate with Team: Communicate with fellow educators and support staff to align activities with the preschool’s philosophy.
• Adapt & Respond: Adjust activities to suit children’s developmental stages, interests, and energy levels.

• Experience working with toddlers (18–36 months) in a preschool, childcare, or enrichment setting.
• Familiarity with Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or Waldorf pedagogies.
• Passionate, patient, and creative with young children.
• Ability to manage small groups with warmth and confidence.
• ECDA certification or equivalent (preferred, but not mandatory for relief role).

• Paid hourly for 2 hours daily (Monday to Friday, 3:30–5:30 PM).
