Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join us as our in-house technical partner, taking over the development and maintenance of our core software platform. This is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact and become the technical backbone of our company.

The Role

This role is highly autonomous and requires a self-starter who is comfortable with a broad range of responsibilities, from backend development to data visualization.

• Architect, develop, and maintain our RTLS software platform, including backend services, APIs, and databases.
• Integrate with various hardware devices (GPS, Bluetooth, RFID readers) and third-party services.
• Design and implement new features to enhance our location tracking, data analytics, and reporting capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and technical issues.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to understand client needs and provide technical support.
• Optimize the system for performance and scalability as our user base grows.
• Lead the technical direction of the company, evaluating new technologies and making strategic decisions.

• Proven experience as a full-stack or backend software engineer, with at least 3-5 years of professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java.
• Experience with databases, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with API design and development (RESTful, GraphQL).
• Understanding of RTLS concepts and technologies (GPS, Bluetooth/BLE, RFID) is a significant plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
