Senior / Physiotherapist, 5 Days Office Hours (Public Healthcare) HMZ

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide appropriate therapy interventions for patients with various conditions within the primary care setting.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and implement suitable therapy modalities based on patients’ medical conditions and functional needs.
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress using appropriate outcome measures and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on rehabilitation, preventive care, and continued management of conditions.
• Conduct health education talks and community outreach programmes focusing on fall prevention and overall wellness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and service enhancement projects within the department.
• Provide supervision, guidance, and training to students, trainees, and junior staff members.

What we're looking for:

• Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university.
• Registered with AHPC
• Ability to work well independently in a challenging environment alongside a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to demonstrate and articulate sound clinical knowledge and reasoning, critical thinking, judgement, and decision-making in the provision of care.
• A patient-focused individual with a genuine desire to make a difference in community healthcare
• An individual with a passion for a healthcare career and who is inspired to move ahead despite challenges.
