About Us

9 Solar Fintech Pte. Ltd. is a growing solar photovoltaic (PV) project developer in Singapore, focused on delivering rooftop solar solutions for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. We develop, finance, build, and operate solar PV systems under long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), helping our clients reduce energy costs and carbon footprint.

As part of our expansion, we are looking for a Business Development Associate to support project sourcing, client engagement, and partnership development across our solar portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
  • Identify and source potential rooftop, land for solar opportunities (commercial, industrial, MCST, warehouses, factories, land etc.)
  • Assist in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and basic financial models for solar projects.
  • Support negotiations for Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), rooftop lease, or revenue-sharing arrangements.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Act as a point of contact for prospective clients during early-stage discussions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, EPC, finance, legal) to support feasibility studies and proposals.
Market Research & Reporting
  • Conduct market research on electricity tariffs, solar trends, incentives, and competitor offerings.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management on deal progress and business opportunities.
Project & Administrative Support
  • Assist in document preparation related to PPAs, LOIs, NDAs, and commercial agreements.
  • Support due diligence processes for investors or financing partners when required.
  • Provide general business development and administrative support to the management team.
Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Sustainability, Real Estate, or related fields.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, real estate, energy, or infrastructure-related roles is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable engaging building owners, corporate clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of solar PV systems, electricity billing, or PPAs is an advantage (training will be provided).
  • Good analytical and presentation skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn.
  • Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, and green finance.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Comfortable with site visits and client meetings when required.
