About the Role

The Program Manager (Climate) plays a key role in shaping and implementing the Foundation's climate-related work. This includes managing partnerships, overseeing program activities, supporting strategy development, and contributing to monitoring, learning, and insight generation.

The role spans the full program cycle, from partner identification and due diligence to implementation oversight and internal coordination and ensures alignment with the Foundation's climate goals and wider mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning, execution, and monitoring of climate-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Foundation's strategic goals
  • Lead the engagement with implementing partners: overseeing onboarding, relationship management, progress tracking, and trouble-shooting during implementation
  • Coordinate due diligence for prospective grantee partners, prepare internal memos and documentation, and support contracting processes in collaboration with legal and operations teams
  • Track program milestones, gather insights from partner updates and fieldwork, and contribute to internal learning and strategy refinement
  • Work closely with the Head of Program and other team members to ensure effective coordination across internal learning and strategy refinement

  • Support the Foundation's evolving climate strategy by identifying emerging trends, surfacing risks and opportunities, and helping document the learning outcomes from program implementation
  • Stay informed about developments int he climate ecosystem and engage with peers, networks or events as needed to strengthen program relevance and connections
  • Maintain clear and consistent records across systems and trackers to support compliance and internal alignment
Your Profile
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in program or project maangement, with a strong track record in climate-related work
  • Familiarity with key climate issues and solutions in Asia, including the role of communities, industries, institutions and systems in responding to climate challenges. Ability to work across thematic areas and connect insights from diverse climate approaches
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams, tracking timelines and deliverables, and coordinating across teams. Experience with due diligence, implementation oversight and outcome tracking is essential
  • Able to synthesise partner updates, field observations, and external research into clear insights to support decision-making and learning
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to engage with partners, draft internal documentation and coordinate effectively across functions (e.g. legal, operations, strategy)
