Purchasing Officer (Manufacturing) (ID: 698669)

Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete purchasing cycle: sourcing, comparing quotes, and issuing Purchase Orders (PO).
• Liaise with suppliers to confirm timely material delivery and address any supply chain challenges.
• Facilitate price negotiations with suppliers to promote cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct goods receipt in SAP for accurate recording of transactions.
• Coordinate inbound logistics and provide essential administrative support for purchasing operations.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and records to comply with applicable policies and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to streamline procurement processes.
• Perform additional ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum ITE/Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within a manufacturing context.
• Familiarity with SAP (preferably MM module) is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently and in a team environment.
