Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CAD Drafter to join our engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in executing gas pipeline projects. You will be responsible for transforming complex utility service plans into precise, high-quality 2D technical drawings, focusing on utility diversion and combined services alignment.
Duties- Prepare and produce accurate engineering drawings, station layout plans, and detailed drawings for gas pipelines and station projects using AutoCAD 2D.
- Develop comprehensive Combined Services Drawings (CSD) by interpreting, compiling, and scaling multi-agency utility service plans (primarily from PDF formats).
- Draft and design complex gas pipeline works in compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain strict adherence to established company and statutory CAD standards, layering conventions, and drafting practices.
- Collaborate closely with project engineers, submission teams, and external stakeholders to update and amend drawings based on site conditions and authorities' feedback.
- Manage, organize, and archive drawing files and documentation systematically.
- Education: Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of relevant hands-on drafting experience, specifically within underground utility or infrastructure projects in Singapore.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is mandatory.
- Core Competencies:
- Proven experience in utility diversion works and preparing detailed CSDs from PDF service plans.
- Deep understanding of CAD standards, layering conventions, and meticulous drafting practices.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, ability to meet tight project deadlines, and a collaborative team player.
- Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage)
- Prior experience working on Land Transport Authority (LTA) or Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) projects.
- Familiarity with local roadworks, drainage systems, and utility infrastructure frameworks
