Toa Payoh - Technical Project Manager (Network deployment)

Salt is looking to hire a Technical Project Manager for 12 months & extendable contract assignment for one of the global technology client in Singapore. The main function of a technical project manager is to help support technical domain managers as well as various projects in the APAC region - new build deployments, expansions, retrofits and decoms.

Key accountabilities:

• Create/maintain tasks related to the creation & installation of the site infrastructure
• Attend weekly APAC project meetings
• Track critical dates & report possible impacts to the project timeline
• Monitor delivery status for equipment shipments
• Provide technical writing/ wiki updates for various teams within org
• Create and maintain project checklists, tools and deployment templates
• Create and maintain resource planning for the project
• Sync with team weekly to check on status of in region projects/updates; assist where needed
• Help maintain responsibility and management of all projects until the defined handover date

• 5+ years of experience with network deployment and installations
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and assisting with large-scale office, manufacturing and data center deployment projects
• Organizational, multitasking, prioritization and communication experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, related field or equivalent practical experience
• PMI or PMP certification preferred
• Mandarin language preferred as you will be dealing with stakeholders from China.
