What you'll do: As a Treasury Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex processes related to margin calls, collateral management, cashflow optimisation, and internal financing.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with both internal teams and external counterparties as you process margin calls, verify regulatory requirements, analyse diverse margin models, and facilitate accurate collateral movements.
You will also work hand-in-hand with the group treasury team to identify opportunities for optimising cash balances while forecasting future needs based on detailed analysis. In addition to these core duties, you will manage monthly attributions for portfolio managers, provide clear explanations regarding internal financing charges, and drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
Your involvement in system integration projects will further contribute to streamlining workflows across all aspects of treasury operations. Process and validate margin calls with bilateral counterparties, clearing brokers, and prime brokers while investigating discrepancies and challenging margin call amounts as needed.
Verify Uncleared Margin Rules versus non-regulatory Initial Margin calls to ensure compliance with industry standards. Analyse various margin models across different counterparties, understanding the differences between futures exchanges, clearing houses, and bilateral agreements.
Handle collateral pledging or cash wire transfers related to margin calls with accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate closely with the group treasury team to optimise firm cashflow balances by identifying opportunities for interest optimisation.
Analyse cashflow usage patterns of the fund and report findings to the group treasury for strategic decision-making. Forecast cashflow usage based on historical data and current trends to support effective treasury management. Manage monthly margin usage attribution to portfolio managers, ensuring transparency in internal financing charges.
Understand the internal financing charge model thoroughly and analyse any gaps in charges compared to market standards, addressing queries from portfolio managers with clear explanations. Lead initiatives and projects aimed at improving process workflows across margin operations, treasury management, and internal financing; participate actively in new system setup and integration efforts.
What you bring: Your proven experience in collateral management or treasury operations equips you with the technical know-how required for this Treasury Operations Specialist position. You bring a deep understanding of industry terminology and regulatory frameworks along with practical familiarity with ISDA agreements governing collateral pledging.

A solid working knowledge of key margin terminology such as Initial Margin, Independent Amounts, Uncleared Margin Rules is required for effective performance. Understanding of collateral pledging mechanisms governed by ISDA collateral sales agreement terms is necessary for accurate processing.
Product knowledge across asset classes including FX, FX Options, FX Volatility products, Equities, Equity Volatility products, Interest Rate Derivatives, Interest Rate Volatility products, Bonds, Total Return Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, Commodities and listed products would be advantageous but not mandatory.
Exceptional analytical skills combined with a detail-oriented approach enable you to solve problems resourcefully while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Demonstrated ability as a dependable team player who thrives when collaborating with others on shared goals within tight deadlines.
