We are recruiting for an engineering specialist in automotive system design. The vacancies would be a better match for candidates from either automotive engineering design OR metal fabrication / structural support design backgrounds.
Job Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for engineering projects
- Produce 3D models and 2D detailed drawings using SolidWorks
- Support end-to-end project execution from concept, design to implementation
- Perform engineering calculations, design verification, and documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients on technical requirements
- Support fabrication, assembly, testing, and design troubleshooting activities
- Ensure design meets functional, manufacturability, and project requirements
Design Exposure Areas
Candidates may be involved in one or more of the following:
Automotive Mechanical Systems Design- Brake systems
- Suspension systems
- Engine-related mechanical components
- Fixtures and jigs
- Bracing and support structures
- Metal frames, brackets, and fabrication assemblies
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory)
- Experience in mechanical design, product development, or project engineering
- Background in automotive, precision fabrication, machinery, or structural steel industry is an advantage
- Knowledge of FEA / CFD simulation tools is a plus
- Able to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong experience in project handling and design leadership
- Able to manage multiple engineering projects independently
- Provide technical guidance and design solutions to junior engineers
- Experience in client or vendor technical coordination preferred
