Description:

An Assistant Programme Manager will be supporting the Programme Manager on the overall management, coordination, and implementation of the programme in accordance with the contract requirements, work plans, and compliance measures. He / she will ensure that the programme objectives are met within the specified scope, timeline, budget and quality standards.

The role requires proactiveness and dedication who can engage and manage multiple stakeholders (both local and overseas), oversee programme activities, and drive the programme towards a successful outcome.

Job Description
  • Define the Scope and manage the planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and completion of the programme, and ensure alignment with company policies, commitments and goals.
  • Develop and review project plans, and ensure timeline aligns with programme objectives.
  • Develop and manage the programme budget and ensure the financial targets are achieved.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of programme activities.
  • Manage customers' requirements and expectations, analyse programme risks and develop the necessary risk mitigation plan

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in Programme Management is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong programme management skills, with ability to manage one or more programmes concurrently, PMP certification will be good to have.
  • Strong vendor management in negotiation and collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to convey technical and non-technical information effectively.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Good knowledge of Defence Industry will be an added advantage.
