Business Development Executive (Insurance Industry)

As a Business Development Executive (Insurance Industry), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage and maintain client relationships by handling enquiries, follow-ups, and providing product information
• Support business growth by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling insurance products to existing clients
• Assist in new business conversion by explaining coverage, benefits, pricing, and policy details via phone, email, or face-to-face interactions
• Support policy renewals by monitoring expiry dates, following up on renewals, and ensuring continuous coverage without lapses
• Process quotations, policy issuance, endorsements, and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Prepare premium comparisons and ensure all supporting documents are complete and properly filed
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems, including renewal listings and client databases
• Support claims follow-up and participate in ad-hoc projects or process improvement initiatives as required

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in any field.
• Possess relevant insurance certifications (BCP, PGI, ComGI, HI)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance industry or related field
