Asssistant Finance Manager (6 months contract)

This is a 6-months contract position.
Responsibilities- Assist in performing monthly foreign currency translation exercises for overseas companies using accounting system.
- Assist in performing sub-group and group consolidation.
- Assist in preparation of monthly reporting package and variance analysis.
- Assist in handling group financial reporting requests from parent holding companies.
- Assist in the preparation of supporting notes to financial statements for Group’s quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial statements.
- Assist in preparation of presentation materials for quarterly Audit and Risk Committee (“ARC”) and Board meetings.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors for audit exercises.
- Drafting of audited financial statements of Singapore companies.
- Preparation of quarterly compliance checklist and MAS quarterly survey.
- Any ad-hoc task that may arise.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- At least 6 years of relevant accounting and / or audit experiences in a similar position
- Knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge in system implementation will be advantageous
- Well organized, able to multi-task, meticulous and with eyes for details
- Able to work independently and as a team
