Finance Manager

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will also be actively involved in financial analysis, process improvements, and supervising the finance team to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the Group, including but not limited to General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), cash management, and taxation.
• Maintain full sets of accounts for subsidiary companies and ensure timely preparation of Group consolidation reports.
• Ensure timely month-end closing and accurate preparation of financial reports for management.
• Conduct monthly flux analysis on the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet to support business performance reviews.
• Review and file GST submissions and annual Corporate Income Tax returns, ensuring regulatory compliance while optimizing tax matters.
• Monitor and manage treasury functions to support effective cash flow planning.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and prevent fraud.
• Partner with department heads and cross-functional teams to implement initiatives and projects that improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare and analyse consolidated financial statements, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage intercompany transactions.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, tax filings, and audit requirements.
• Liaise with the Corporate Secretary on statutory compliance matters and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and regulatory filings.
• Develop and provide financial analysis to support business decision-making, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the finance team, including task allocation, performance reviews, and skills development, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Support top management with ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in SAP / AutoCount and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and high standards.
• Highly meticulous, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• A good team player with strong communication skills to interact effectively with management.
• Candidates who are able to start work at short notice will have an advantage.
