The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering with our client, a well-known Tech MNC.
We are looking for a Java Developer to join the team.
The role will start out as a 6-month contract.
Candidates who are immediately available or can start on short notice will be preferred.

The Talent

5+ years of hands-on experience in software development using Java (8/11/17), J2EE, and Spring Boot
Strong background in developing APIs, microservices, and working with API Gateways & Orchestration
Proficient in Web Services (SOAP/REST), OAuth, Swagger/OpenAPI, JSON, and Reactive Programming
Familiar with ReactJS or similar frontend frameworks (Vue/Angular)
Strong understanding of design patterns, data modeling (RDBMS/XSD/JSON), and SQL/Stored Procedures
Experience with Kafka, ORM, and database interaction
Comfortable working in Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with DevOps models and tools like Git, JIRA, or Confluence a plus

Job Description

Drive the design, development, deployment, and support of backend and API engineering platforms
Work closely with Business Analysts, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver solutions
Ensure all development follows industry best practices in scalability, performance, and security
Build APIs and microservices in a Java Spring Boot environment
Create and maintain developer documentation and contribute to API ecosystem growth
Analyze and improve system performance, supporting product adoption and user experience
Help maintain internal databases and support API-driven workflows across teams
