Architectural Manager (Institutional Project, A1 main contractor)
About the Company & Role
Our client is a well-established A1 building main contractor with a strong track record in delivering complex, large-scale developments in Singapore. They are seeking an experienced Architectural Manager to oversee architectural works for a major institutional project in the Changi East area, covering design coordination, authority compliance, construction quality, and interface management to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage architectural works from design development through construction completion
- Coordinate architectural design, detailing, and interfaces with consultants and site teams
- Ensure architectural works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements
- Manage RFIs, shop drawings, material submissions, mock-ups, and quality standards
- Resolve architectural and construction issues across façade, finishes, waterproofing, and interfaces
- Act as the main architectural coordination point for consultants, client representatives, and site teams
- Support programme control, variation management, and risk mitigation related to architectural works
- Degree in Architecture or equivalent; professional registration is an advantage
- Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in large-scale institutional or complex building projects
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, authority submissions, and construction standards
- Proven experience managing architectural works on site and coordinating multiple stakeholders
- Proficient in AutoCAD; BIM experience is an advantage
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
