Corporate Finance Accountant

Job Summary

Review, analyse and interpret financial information and other group reporting templates submitted by all sites for Management and Group reporting. Assist reporting manager to ensure all reporting deadlines for Management and Group Reporting are strictly adhered to.

• Analyse monthly financial submitted by subsidiaries and provide explanatory notes on variances vs budget and prior periods.
• Manage monthly patching of sales data in SQL sales database for all MM sites and upload of annual Budget Sales and Margin for all sites.
• Assist in consolidation, review and analysis of annual group budget and related information for Management review and submission to Head Office.
• Assist in vetting other group reporting templates submitted by all sites for submission to head office on time.
• Provide financial analysis as needed for operational and strategic requirements, including justification for new sites, capital expenditures, credit limit applications /review for new customers and existing customers (eg temporary override) for approval by Management.
• Liaise and assist regional finance teams on all financial and group reporting matters.
• Assist in cross border tax matters eg transfer pricing documentation and Masterfile
• Assist in collation of information for computation and allocation of Corporate and IT Support Fees to all MM sites.
• Co-lead with Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance to liaise with auditors for financial and internal audits and meet audit deadlines.
• Assist the Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance in coordinating and supporting the tax agents for annual tax filing and meet tax filing deadlines.
• Manage full sets of financials for smaller entities, including GST filing, tax and audit matters.
• Lead and manage finance projects eg RPA, Staff claims, ERP systems.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties / projects which may be required from time to time.

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma pursuing Professional certification in Finance and Accounting.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with group reporting/consolidation will be added advantage.
• Committed to meeting tight deadlines, meticulous for details
• Well versed and familiar with Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs).
• Good knowledge in Excel.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Mature, positive learning attitude, ability to multi-task.
