Public Relations Officer cum Administrative Assistant - Woodlands

We are seeking a proactive and well-organized Public Relations Officer cum Administrative Assistant to support our project team in both stakeholder engagement and administrative coordination. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle public feedback professionally, and experience managing day-to-day administrative duties.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and capable of liaising effectively with government agencies, contractors, and the general public.
Job Responsibilities:
Public Relations Duties:
- Conduct regular site visits and maintain an updated Public Relations (PR_) plan.
- Design, prepare, and distribute newsletters or circulars to update residents and the public on work progress.
- Handle verbal and written feedback from stakeholders through emails, letters, and in-person discussions.
- Log and follow up on feedback and complaints to ensure timely resolution and closure.
- Liaise with Statutory Boards and Government Agencies (e.g. HDB, PUB, Town Councils, MOM) and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project operations.
- Arrange site inspections in response to public or stakeholder concerns.
- Prepare PR_ reports as required.
- Carry out Pre-Condition and Post-Condition surveys within construction influence zones when necessary.
Administrative Duties:
- Coordinate with the operations supervisor to collect daily work reports from teams.
- Generate e-Job Sheets and raise draft bills using TaskHub.
- Submit purchase requests and follow up with the procurement team on status and delivery.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, typing, data entry, copying, scanning, and binding.
- Assist Project Engineers and the Project Manager with other administrative tasks and statutory consultations as assigned.
- Degree, Diploma, or ITE certification in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in public relations, administration, or project coordination, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., TaskHub or similar systems) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of statutory requirements and government agencies related to construction projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with government agencies, contractors, and the public.
- Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude.
- Work Schedule: 5-day work week.
