Financial Accountant (Controller / Manufacturing / Audit / West) - Bukit Batok

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead general accounting operations: AP/AR, fixed assets, banking, tax, credit control, and budgetary compliance.
• Ensure accurate monthly and year-end closings, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including actuals vs. budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze financial trends and operational results to identify cost-saving and profit opportunities.
• Manage internal and external audits; enforce adherence to international accounting standards.
• Oversee working capital management: credit risk, payment terms, collections, and inventory controls.
• Administer treasury activities including cash flow, forex hedging, and compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (GST, WHT, corporate taxes).
• Support financial operations across holding and subsidiary entities.
• Liaise with various internal departments and external stakeholders to meet financial and regulatory objectives.
• Handle additional corporate functions such as secretarial duties, government reporting, insurance, CAPEX, and leases.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or equivalent preferred).
• At least 4 years in accounting, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Background in external audit and/or strong internal controls knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office, and ERP systems.
