Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team!

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to grow your career in finance and accounting? Join our client's team as a Finance Assistant and play a crucial role in managing daily financial operations, liaising with key stakeholders, and ensuring smooth financial processes across borders.

What you'll be doing?

Bookkeeping and accounting: Manage daily tasks including document collection, review, and archiving for various departments.
Stakeholder liaison: Interact with banks, tax authorities, and service providers to handle account maintenance, tax filing, and annual returns.
Cash flow management: Oversee company cash flow, including disbursements, receipts, reconciliations, and financial risk monitoring.
Cross-border coordination: Work with the Mainland China headquarters to align financial data and support audit processes.
Retail operations: Handle cashier duties and cash safekeeping for physical store(s), verifying daily revenue and reporting irregularities.
Process improvement: Identify and suggest improvements for store financial operations.
Versatility: Complete ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors, demonstrating adaptability and willingness to learn.

Who are they looking for?

Educational background: Preferably a Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
Relevant experience: At least 3 years in financial roles, combining accounting and cashiering responsibilities. Experience with Singapore accounting/tax practices is a plus.
Technical proficiency: Skilled in financial software (e.g., SAP or other mainstream accounting software used by Singapore SMEs) and Microsoft Office.
