CNC Machine Maintenance Technician (Oil & Gas)

Employment Type: Full-Time | Monday - Friday; 8.30am - 6.15pm

We are looking for an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician with a strong background in CNC turning and milling machines to support our oil & gas manufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, precision, and efficiency of our machining equipment used in the production of high-spec components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC turning and milling machines
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Diagnose faults in CNC systems, including drives, motors, and control units
• Minimize machine downtime through fast and effective problem-solving
• Conduct routine inspections, calibration, and alignment of machinery
• Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and spare parts inventory
• Support machine installation, commissioning, and upgrades
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimize machine performance
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and oil & gas industry regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience maintaining CNC machines (turning & milling)
• Strong knowledge of CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or equivalent)
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision machining equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and machine manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Immediate respond to emergency breakdowns
