About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to join our team in the Central Region. This full-time position will provide vital support to our HR department, contributing to the smooth running of our operations. As an HR Assistant, you will be a key point of contact for employees, assisting with a variety of HR-related tasks and projects.

What you'll be doing
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including managing employee records, processing payroll, and coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Coordinate employee training and development programmes, including organising workshops and seminars
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening applications, and scheduling interviews
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
What we're looking for
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an HR assistant or coordinator role, preferably in a consulting or generalist HR environment
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
  • Proficient in using HR-related software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • A proactive and collaborative team player
