The client is a start-up in the technology space. They are looking for their next superstar business development manager to join them and handle both client farming and hunting not only in Singapore but also within the APAC region and possibly globally down the line.

Key Responsibilities- Market Expansion in Tech: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the relevant sectors
- Partnership Development: Build alliances with technology vendors, integrators, and enterprise clients to create scalable growth opportunities.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop go-to-market strategies, manage the sales pipeline, and close deals with startups, SMEs, and enterprise customers.
- Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Lead complex negotiations with clients and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Industry Intelligence: Stay ahead of technology trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points to inform product positioning and strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to align customer feedback with product development.
- Performance Tracking: Define KPIs, monitor progress, and report on business development activities to leadership.
- Brand Advocacy: Represent the company at tech conferences, networking events, and industry forums to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Experience: 5-8 years in business development, sales, or partnerships within the technology sector (SaaS, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, or related fields).
- Tech-Savvy: Strong understanding of software solutions, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: Ability to thrive in a startup environment, with a proactive and resourceful approach to challenges.
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Relationship Building: Proven success in developing long-term partnerships with technology clients and ecosystem players.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess market data, identify opportunities, and make strategic recommendations.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in tech-focused roles.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (MBA or technical background is a plus).
