About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operator to join our team on a 2-year renewable contract. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing plant located on Jurong Island.
Job Descriptions- Perform daily batch processes in accordance to SOPs and Work Instructions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform manual charging of raw materials into reactors accurately according to SOPs.
- Perform drumming operations for finished products. This includes preparing drum/IBCs, setting up filling scales, monitoring flow rates and ensuring accurate fill weights.
- Operate forklift safely to move materials and support production needs.
- Perform scheduled housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Ensure proper handover and communication during shift changes.
- Any other duties as and when required to be done by superior.
- GCE “O” Level or equivalent.
- Prior experience in the chemical process or plastics industry is preferred; however, entry-level candidates with a strong "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn are welcome.
- Forklift license would be an added advantage.
- Able to perform manual charging, drumming, climb reactor levels and work in a non-conditioned environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety protocols
- Must be able to work on 12-hours rotating shift.
