Waste Management Route Planner

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Routing Controller to oversee daily waste collection operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, route optimization, and compliance with MOM and NEA safety standards. The role involves coordinating drivers and subcontractors, managing customer inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting finance with invoicing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate daily waste collection schedules and vehicle assignments
• Monitor drivers, routes, and waste collection timelines
• Communicate with drivers, customers, site supervisors & personnels
• Respond to customer delivery inquiries, provide status updates and resolve complaints
• Arrange for vehicle repairs, maintenance and periodic inspections
• Handle incident reporting and service recovery
• Ensure waste collection comply with MOM & NEA guidelines and safety standards
• Optimize routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Coordinate subcontractors or third-party disposal providers

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:

• Check through delivery notes and assist finance in invoicing
• Update & monitor company app & google spreadsheets
• Maintain waste collection & vehicle servicing records
• Manage driver rosters, leave schedules, and attendance
• Check through delivery notes and assist finance in invoicing
• Prepare reports for Management on a monthly basis

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong multitasking & problem solving skills
• Communication and coordination skills
• Familiarity with Singapore roads
• Able to use Microsoft Excel & Spreadsheet
