Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Fund Accountant located in Singapore. The Junior Fund Accountant will assist with the preparation and review of financial statements, calculate NAVs (Net Asset Values), and handle fund accounting operations.The role involves preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and collaborating with team members to deliver accurate and timely reporting. The candidate will play a critical role in maintaining financial data integrity while contributing to efficient fund administration processes.
Roles & Responsibilities- Assist with fund accounting entries of trades and cash transactions into fund accounting systems
- Perform portfolio reconciliation with external parties
- Support NAV financial closing and ensure delivery of NAV packs
- Support multiple asset classes and funds including both liquid and non-liquid strategies
- Support fund setup process and various fund structures
- Support in designing and implementing fund administration process automation initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and resiliency
- Liaison with auditors to support annual audits for fund clients
- Support fund related queries from fund managers
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good team player and possesses an excellent working attitude
- Good knowledge of financial markets and financial products
- Good knowledge of accounting and understanding of financial statements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Fresh graduate or candidates with no direct experience are welcomed to apply
- Attractive compensation of SGD 3,000 - SGD 4,000
