About the Role:
We are looking for a warm, responsible and passionate Private Tutor to provide one-on-one home-based lessons for a primary school student. If you have a strong academic background, and want to make a real difference in a student’s learning journey, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct personalized lessons in English, Math, or Science at the student’s home
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to the student's needs and academic level
- Support the student both academically and emotionally to build confidence and motivation
- Prepare high-quality teaching materials aligned with the Singapore MOE curriculum
- Foster a supportive and positive learning environment
- Maintain regular communication with parents to update on progress and discuss learning strategies
- Contribute to the development of the student’s long-term learning skills and mindset
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree (from a reputable university preferred)
- Familiarity with Singapore’s MOE syllabus (especially for Primary level)
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Patient, nurturing, and engaging teaching style
- Passion for education and genuine interest in helping children grow
