Project Engineer

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Engineer is to support the Project Manager in the performance of their duties and coordination, site execution of rainwater system installations, testing and commissioning, to the successful handing over of project to clients.

• To assist the PM on multiple projects and programme and allocate manpower as required.
• Maintain a log of inspections, actions and re-inspections all rectified non-conformances.
• Submit shop drawings and material samples for conformance with project specification
• Assist Project Manager in the planning and allocation of labour, materials, plant, transport and equipment.
• Plan activities of allocated Site Supervisors and workforce under their control, in line with project requirements.
• Monitor Health and Safety on projects to ensure safe working practices are carried out in accordance to local regulations
• Ensure that projects are carried out within the labour and material budget parameters provided as advised by PM
• Check site progress and productivity, record and submit progress claims for certification and payment.

• The successful candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in Architecture / Mechanical / Civil or Building.
• Preferably 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
• A good communicator.
