Desktop Engineer (Tech Refresh) #0027

Salary: Up to $2,800 (Depending on experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Tech Refresh Engineer to support IT device lifecycle replacement projects within a healthcare environment. You will be responsible for the deployment, replacement, and migration of end-user devices, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption to daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform onsite PC/laptop refresh, deployment, and replacement activities across healthcare sites
• Support data backup, migration, and restoration for end users
• Install, configure, and set up operating systems, software, and business applications
• Ensure all devices comply with IT standards, security policies, and configuration guidelines
• Provide basic troubleshooting during migration and post-deployment support
• Coordinate with end users to schedule device replacement and minimize operational impact
• Maintain accurate documentation of asset movement, deployment records, and completion status
• Escalate technical issues to relevant support teams when required

Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec in IT / Computer Studies or related field
• Minimum 6 months of relevant working experience in IT support, desktop support, or tech refresh / deployment projects
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, hardware setup, and networking fundamentals
• Comfortable working onsite in a healthcare environment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable to work 5.5 days per week with normal working hours.
