• Manage RFQ processes for mechanical and electro-mechanical commodities based on customer specifications, including proposing suitable alternatives.
• Act as Quote Leader for assigned customers, ensuring accurate and timely Bill of Materials (BOM) submissions.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and alternate sourcing strategies for both new and existing projects.
• Oversee supplier base management, including quality, delivery performance, cost control, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams for First Article Approvals and system setup of approved parts and suppliers.
• Support project management activities and risk management processes; must be able to read technical drawings and preferably have experience with sheet metal, machining, and supplier networks.
