Chef; Kitchen Assistant | Entry level/5 Days Rosters; 44 hours per week/Changi - Tampines

Benefits:

• Chef – Salary $3000 - $3500
• Kitchen Assistant – Salary $1900 - $2100 + Overtime + Allowance
• 44 hours/week; 5 Days shift roster
• East Region (Changi Jewel)

Job Scope:

• Plan, design, and develop authentic Korean menus.
• Prepare and cook a variety of Korean dishes such as bulgogi, kimchi, bibimbap, samgyeopsal, japchae, and jjigae.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and portioning.
• Supervise and train kitchen team members in Korean cooking methods and food handling.
• Manage kitchen inventory and oversee ordering of key ingredients.
• Ensure all food preparation complies with hygiene and safety standards.

• Support chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks.
• Keep track of stock levels and notify the team of any shortages or low supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including food prep areas and storage spaces.
• Clean and wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe kitchen environment.

Job Requirements:

• Experience as a Chef or Kitchen Assistant, preferably in Korean or Asian cuisine
• Strong knowledge of Korean dishes, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays.
