Hougang - Associate Test Engineer (Shift Work - MNC/Semiconductor)

Schedule: Shift-based (Day/Night Rotations)

Job Summary:

You will play a key role in ensuring product functionality, quality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional testing on semiconductor equipment, sub-assemblies, and components.
• Troubleshoot electronic circuits, mechanical parts, and system-level faults.
• Assist in test setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance of test systems.
• Analyze test data, generate reports, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Escalate and document non-conformities and support root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety, and quality standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in engineering, QA, and production.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities for test yield and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, or related manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generators).
• Knowledge of analog/digital circuits, PCBA, and component-level troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and ESD handling procedures is a plus.
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
