Corporate Secretary
About the role
Company is seeking an experienced Corporate Secretary to join our team in the Jurong East Region. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the company's management team and Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities- Organize Board Meetings and AGMs – prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute materials
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act and ACRA filing requirements
- Maintain statutory registers and corporate records (e.g. directors, shareholders)
- Advise clients on corporate governance and legal obligations
- Handle share transfers, director appointments/resignations, and company updates
- Communicate with ACRA, IRAS, and other regulatory bodies as needed
- Degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in corporate secretarial or compliance roles
- Good knowledge of Singapore’s Companies Act and ACRA regulations
- Proficiency with BizFile+
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Mandatory Legal Requirements (as per ACRA regulations)
✔ Must be eligible to act as a Registered Qualified Individual (RQI)- Singapore resident
- Either a qualified professional (lawyer, public accountant, or member of CSIS/ISCA/ACCA), or
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate secretarial work
✔ Must have completed or be willing to undergo AML/CFT training
✔ Experience working with a Registered Filing Agent (RFA) is a strong advantage
