The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain.

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Position Summary

Consumer Business – Consumer Usage and NETS App team is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Product Owner to join the NETS App team in Singapore. The NETS App is a leading digital payment solution with over 1 million downloads. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing its features, usability and overall customer experience.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams – including analysts, developers, designers, and business stakeholders – to define App roadmap, prioritise backlogs, and drive the delivery of high-impact features that align with business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, define and prioritise product backlog based on business value, user feedback, and market trends.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a frictionless and intuitive payment experience.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to delivery high-quality features on time.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and user research to identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Monitor key performance metrics (e.g. App ratings, Transaction Volume, User retention) and iterate based on insights.
  • Engage with stakeholders (product, marketing, compliance, customer support) to align product strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with MAS regulations and Information Security policies.
  • Ensure quality delivery of NETS App by Live Verification and Testing before delivery.
  • Support Business administrative duties.

Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science of related disciplines.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in fintech payments or mobile apps.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and related App product development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business teams.
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s digital payment landscape is a plus.
