Management Trainee (FOH F&B Operations)

Working days: 5-6 days a week

Job Overview:

INITIA Group is looking for a passionate and dedicated Management Trainee (Front of House F&B Operations) to join our growing F&B team. This 12-month intensive hands-on program is designed to equip aspiring culinary professionals with the knowledge, skills, and real-world experience to grow into future kitchen leaders.

You will be rotated across our signature outlets to master front-of-house operations, traditional and modern leadership responsibilities. Trainees will be mentored by experienced professional leaders while taking on increasing responsibility throughout each phase of the program.

Core duties and responsibilities:

• Greet and serve guests warmly and professionally.
• Present menu items and explain ingredients or cooking styles.
• Use POS systems and manage table reservations (e.g., Chope, Inline).
• Set up and close the restaurant, including daily checklists.
• Familiarize and get to know all the functions and operations of the outlet.
• Oversee an efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the outlet and ensure strong product knowledge.
• Participate in the company's strategic planning.
• Assist manager in completing daily tasks and implementing new policies, and coach colleagues to ensure standards are being maintained.
• Attend to customers’ needs and queries and ensure to give a wonderful dining experience for each customer and guarantee their satisfaction.

Role qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Management or Business or any related course.
• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply
• Passionate about being trained in Operations and willing to learn.
• Strong & effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-oriented, confident, and a leader type.
