Requirements
Have 25+ years of experience in the information technology (IT) industry.
Have 15+ years of experience as a project manager and/or a service manager.
Have 3+ years of experience as a program manager.
Have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree.
Possess program management experience, along with a history of managing a few large transformation programs delivering multiple streams with project manager direct reports, providing executive dashboards and reporting using automation and efficient approaches.
Possess excellent Customer interfacing skills and first-rate interpersonal skills required to work with other departments and/or subsidiaries and the Customer to develop timelines for project deliverables.
Be able to consistently demonstrate a level-headed approach, calmness, and a can-do attitude.
Possess creative problem-solving skills and the ability to offer alternatives that are Customer-focused, strategic, and profitable for AT&T.
Possess a formal project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 certification).
Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
Be able to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision in a non-structured environment.
Take a leadership role and have experience in managing resources across multiple time zones.
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Work under extremely challenging timeframes and pressure to meet Customer deadlines.
Be a self-starter, demonstrate the ability to work both in a team environment and in a standalone role, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Have the confidence to address senior management and notify them of outages in critical situations.
Be experienced in working within a change control-oriented environment.
Have solid knowledge of testing strategies and defining acceptance criteria.
Have experience in managing large teams of technical and non-technical consultants.
Be able to deliver across multiple verticals and technology vendor solutions.
Preferred Experience and Attributes
Have an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation v3 certification.
Possess experience in working on a global security deployment.
Understand security terminologies, frameworks, and processes.
Must have successfully delivered multiple, large Unified Communications platforms, managed services, and/or mobility solutions.
Have experience in service management delivery.
