Assistant Finance Manager (Retail/FMCG/Luxury) - Toa Payoh

We are seeking a motivated and result-oriented Assistant Finance Manager responsible for strengthening the finance function of the SEA region, working closely with the Business Management department, as well as aligning with the business strategies and initiatives as a team member of SEA region.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the region, collaborating with Onitsuka Tiger SEA Regional Director and the Business Management department of HQ to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to finance and accounting, including tax compliance and financial reporting requirements.
• Manage the team and provide guidance and support as needed, including coaching and development of team members.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Experience in a global organization and familiarity with international accounting standards.
• Experience in retail industries such as fashion (apparel/footwear) and cosmetics is preferred.
