Purpose:
Perform maintenance and inspection of process equipment on time and in compliance to procedures to ensure their uninterrupted availability to support operations. Assist in troubleshooting and correction of equipment analysis of maintenance trends of select equipment and in development of procedures, work instructions and risk assessments.Independently implement corrective actions, plant and equipment improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Execute maintenance & repair work orders, follows maintenance procedures & instructions, apply LOTO and perform maintenance jobs on static and rotating equipment according to Job plans and SOPs / Work Instructions.
 - Troubleshoot and act as the first line of defense for any issues that may come up in the operation of manufacturing equipment.
 - Promptly address and correct issues related to equipment.
 - Ensure that all work orders are completed and updates provided in the CMMS on time.
 - Implement CAPAs, plant and equipment improvements to improve reliability and availability of equipment.
 - Perform risk assessment of maintenance activities in conjunction with other stakeholders like engineers, operators, EHS personnel.
 - Maintain a high level of SHE and cGMP compliance during maintenance activities.
 - Coordinates with external contractors for specialized maintenance work.
 - When required, work on shifts or be on call to ensure quick resolution of any issues that come up during campaigns.
 - Provide feedback on maintenance issues and trends associated with failures and root causes.
 - Actively participate in implementation of CAPAs. troubleshooting, plant and equipment improvements
 - Any other duties as assigned by your Supervisor/Manager
 
Requirements:
- NITEC or vocational certificate in relevant discipline (mechanical / electrical / chemical)
 - At least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience
 - Experience in chemical / pharmaceutical / biotech facilities or knowledge of cGMP is a plus
 - Excellent attitude towards work and keen willingness to learn
 - Willingness to perform “hands-on” work
 - Prior experience on working with CMMS and MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word)
 - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
 - Excellent team player willing to work for the common goal
