Our client, a global leader in precision measurement and geospatial solutions, known for delivering cutting-edge technology that drives innovation across various industries. They are currently looking to hire a Process Engineer to join their manufacturing and engineering team based in Singapore.

About the role:

As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of high-precision manufacturing processes in a fast-paced, low-volume, high-mix production environment. You will work on the shop floor, applying advanced engineering techniques to design and refine manufacturing systems, tools, and workflows.

Engage across cross-functional teams - design, production, and quality assurance to implement lean manufacturing strategies, automate production lines, and drive continuous improvements. Your contributions will directly impact product quality, cycle time, and operational efficiency.

5 Top MUST-HAVES Requirements:

Engineering Experience in High Mix, Low Volume Manufacturing

Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in complex assemblies or precision systems on shop floor environment and enjoy solving technical process challenges.

Strong Process and Tooling Design Skills

Ability to design and implement manufacturing processes, evaluate material and tolerance issues,
Build hardware/software jigs or fixtures to improve production outcomes.

Exposure to Lean and Automation Principles

Worked with lean manufacturing tools and Strong experience in automating workflows using sensors, control systems, and digital process mapping.

Engineering Background

Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical, Electronics, System, or Industrial Engineering or

MSc/PhD holders with relevant research-to-production exposure are welcome.

Competency with Manufacturing & Statistical Tools

Hands-on experience with manufacturing-related software such as SAP, TeamCenter, etc

Experience using Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools such as MATLAB or SPSS for analysing process performance and quality trends.

4 NICE TO HAVE Requirements:

Continuous Improvement Leadership: You’ve initiated or led small-scale improvement projects that impacted yield, quality, or production cycle time.
Technical Presentation and Stakeholder Negotiation: Comfortable delivering presentations and aligning manufacturing parameters with product requirements and business needs.
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 Concepts: Knowledge or application of IoT-enabled production systems, real-time monitoring, or digital twins.
Training and Coaching Mindset: Experience mentoring junior technicians or contributing to internal technical training sessions.
