Student Management Officer #Admiralty

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm
• Service is not required during school holidays

Scope of Services

The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:

1. On-Ground Discipline Support

• Promote positive student behaviour and support student management in the school environment
• Perform duties such as canteen duty, detention duty, traffic duty, and patrolling within the school and its vicinity
• Manage students placed on in-house suspension, ensuring compliance with school rules and meaningful engagement in assigned tasks
• Provide support to classes with students exhibiting behavioural challenges

1. Administrative and Communication Support

• Support Student Development KPIs in case management, including:
• Fact-finding
• Engagement with students and parents
• Coordination of follow-ups
• Monitoring of student progress

1. Event and General Support

• Assist at school events when required
• Carry out any administrative tasks assigned by the Principal, Vice-Principal, and Student Development KPIs

1. The Personnel must be registered with the Ministry of Education (MOE).
2. The Personnel should preferably possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in managing students at the primary or lower secondary level
• Diploma qualification from a recognised institution
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathy towards students with social-emotional and behavioural needs
• Passion and a positive disposition towards working with students with behavioural challenges
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with school teams, including Year Heads, teachers, counsellors, and other stakeholders
