Assistant Finance Manager (Group Consolidation)

- Salary: Up to $6,500, with Variable Bonus
- Location: Tampines
- Working Hour: 9am to 6pm, 5 day
Job Summary:
The Assistant Finance Manager will support the head of department in overseeing the full spectrum of financial operations, with a strong focus on consolidation accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial compliance. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic planning in a fast-paced robotics and industrial automation environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for the group of companies, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Perform detailed budgeting and forecasting activities; provide variance analysis and financial insights.
- Manage and review day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and the general ledger.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions to ensure timely audits and statutory compliance.
- Monitor project costs, capital expenditure, and inventory, particularly for robotics equipment and imported components.
- Support cost control, internal control implementation, and continuous process improvements.
- Assist in Accounting system upgrades or financial automation tools in collaboration with IT and operational teams.
- Provide financial guidance to internal stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Supervise and support junior finance team members when needed.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements in line with company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial capacity.
- Proven experience in consolidated accounts, budgeting, and audit coordination.
- Background in manufacturing, robotics, or industrial sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, local tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, MYOB or similar systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
