education for children aged 1.5 to 12 years old. Inspired by the International Primary

Curriculum (IPC), we offer both a Dutch and English Stream to ensure children can look

Role and responsibilities

We are looking for a flexible and dedicated Relief Preschool Teacher to join our

international team on a 0-hour contract basis. In this role, you will step in during staff

absences to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children aged 18

months to 4 years. You’ll work with a team of experienced teachers from diverse cultural

backgrounds, supporting children’s individual learning needs and celebrating cultural

diversity through various festivities and holidays.

We are seeking an enterprising and warm personality, someone with a passion for

working with young children and the ability to adapt to new situations quickly. You are

positive, stress-resistant, collaborative, and have a good sense of humour.

As a relief teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and child-centred lessons within the IEYC framework alongsidethe team.
• Support children’s academic, social, emotional, and physical growth.
• Assist with daily routines, including diaper changes, toilet training, and hygieneneeds.
• Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain continuity in the curriculum.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and contribute to a cohesive teaching team.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

• A certified Early Childhood Education qualification (e.g., Diploma in EarlyChildhood Care and Education, or equivalent)
• Passion, patience, and enthusiasm for early years education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with IEYC or IPC is a plus
• ICT skills (Google Workspace and Apple tools preferred)
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
• A flexible, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.

Our offer

This is a relief/on-call position under a 0-hour contract, meaning there are no

when called in, are typically Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm
