Warehouse Assistant (Full Time / Part-Time)

Logistics Operations / Warehouse Assistant (SemiconductorTrading Company)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the assigned logistics works e.g, cargo reception, inspection, manual lifting, pick & pack, space allocation, taping, labelling, sorting, etc by SOP / instruction given.
• Inbound: to check the accuracy and condition of physical goods against paperwork and to report all exceptions found upon acceptance at warehouse; then follow by Put-Away to designated location.
• Outbound: build boxes for shipment, to pick & pack by using PDA Barcode Scanner, and labelling of goods, placed packaged items in the correct area.
• Seek necessary information in our warehouse system when needed.
• Assist in stock-take to ensure zero discrepancies.
• Monitoring stock status, i.e. carton boxes, packing tools & materials.
• To carry out housekeeping of warehouse and to keep work areas tidy at all times.
• To comply with safety regulations and security measures for warehouse operations.
• Team player.
• Not much OT but willing to work OT when required.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Candidate is required manual lifting cartons around 20kg per carton.
• Experience in PDA Barcode Scanner and Warehouse Management System (WMS), is preferred
• 2 – 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations in the similar industry will be an added advantage.
• Basic written / verbal English.
• Attention to detail, follow procedures accurately and carefully
• Able to express clearly, listen and understand effectively (instruction & feedback)
• No minimum education required.
• Candidate who is able to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage as we need to coordinate with the Chinese speaking counterparts.
• Only Singaporean to apply. No quota.
• Able to start work immediately.
