[ref. c10719620] Cybersecurity Specialist (Cloud Operations) (PRIT)
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist with leadership capabilities to join our Security Operations & Maintenance team. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in managing security tools, responding to incidents, and leading security operations in a dynamic enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance & Monitoring:
- Oversee daily operations of cybersecurity tools including firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Lead regular system health checks and ensure security technologies are functioning optimally.
Incident Response & Troubleshooting:
- Act as first responder for security alerts, performing initial investigations, documentation, and remediation steps.
- Coordinate with technology vendors for issue escalation and resolution where required.
Vulnerability Management & Patching:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, enforce patch management schedules, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Audit & Compliance Support:
- Support security audits by preparing logs, reports, and ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with IT, network, and infrastructure teams to deploy and manage security solutions.
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation on security processes, incident reports, and the cybersecurity landscape.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity maintenance or IT security operations.
- Demonstrated team leadership experience in a technical/operational security environment.
- Strong hands-on skills in one or more domains: Network Security, Endpoint Protection, Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Experience with container security or key management is a plus.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are advantageous.
