Investment Analyst (Portfolio Management/Family Office) (ID: 700139)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a diverse portfolio with substantial allocations in USD and RMB funds while managing relationships with General Partners (GPs) to enhance reporting processes and implement AI solutions.
• Actively manage capital redeployment into liquid solutions to align with strategic objectives.
• Monitor portfolio performance, analyze metrics such as IRR, MOIC, NAV movements, and prepare quarterly investment reports highlighting key performance drivers.
• Coordinate with GPs and the Investor Relations team for updates on portfolio company performance and fund-level reporting.
• Conduct periodic portfolio reviews to assess asset allocation, liquidity, and risk exposure, supporting rebalancing decisions aligned with strategic targets.
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across private and public sectors, emphasising opportunistic growth.
• Lead the analysis of investment opportunities across various asset classes, generating ideas and optimising processes for alpha generation.
• Build and maintain relationships with external investment managers, advisors, and service providers, ensuring alignment with investment objectives.
• Oversee due diligence on external managers and investments, evaluating legal and financial aspects to ensure alignment with investment philosophy.
• Stay informed of market developments and compliance requirements, regularly updating stakeholders on fund performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA, CFA) are preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in investments and fund management, with familiarity in family office investment practices considered a plus.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficient in financial modelling and analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a detail-oriented mindset for high accuracy in work.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• A strong work ethic and commitment to career development within the firm.
