IT Support Engineer (Manufacturing Systems Support)

• Work Location: 6 Tampines Industrial Avenue 5, Singapore 528760
• Working Hours: 4334 working arrangement (Night - from 7pm to 7am)

• Provide day-to-day IT and application support to end users within a manufacturing environment, including on-site support during shift hours and occasional remote assistance
• Support and troubleshoot manufacturing systems such as SFC, WMS, MES, and related production applications in accordance with established SOPs
• Monitor and manage internal ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution and escalation of production-related IT incidents
• Perform basic SQL query checks and transaction validation to support troubleshooting and system issue investigation
• Monitor network, server, and system performance to ensure smooth operations for production and testing environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, system, and application-related issues efficiently to minimize production downtime
• Support production peripherals and devices including barcode scanners, Zebra/Sharp label printers, and manufacturing workstations
• Collaborate with System Analysts, Infrastructure teams, and external vendors on issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform user onboarding/offboarding activities including account provisioning, system access setup, and asset assignment
• Manage IT assets including installation, configuration, software licensing, inventory tracking, and maintenance documentation
• Maintain and update SOPs, technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and shift handover records to ensure operational continuity
• Comfortable to do documentation work to sorting out IT SOPs
• Conduct user training and internal IT compliance checks to ensure adherence to company IT policies and procedures

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, application support, or manufacturing system support environment
• Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing systems such as MES, WMS, ERP, SFC, or production-related applications will be advantageous
• Basic knowledge of SQL scripting/querying for troubleshooting and transaction checking
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP), Windows/Wintel environments, and Active Directory administration
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and production system-related issues within operational environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently during shift operations
• Good communication and coordination skills to support cross-functional teams and shift operations
• Ability to maintain SOP documentation and follow operational processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Able to communicate in Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders
