Facilities Engineer [ Government / Buildings ]

Basic Salary: $3800 - $4500

Responsibilities:

• Station on-site to oversee the daily planning, management, and operations of facilities management works and services.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems and facilities to ensure proper operation and compliance.
• Identify, record, monitor, and track defects until rectification is completed.
• Respond promptly to critical incidents and safety-related events within the required response time.
• Provide engineering and technical advice based on site assessments for breakdown maintenance, upgrades, improvements, replacements, and urgent works.
• Review and evaluate contractors’ proposals and recommendations.
• Coordinate with contractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion of maintenance works.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Relevant facilities management experience in government buildings or public sector projects.
• Knowledge in hard technical services (e.g., HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and mechanical systems).
• Effective coordination and management of contractors and stakeholders
