Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within an Agile scrum team, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive and well-structured test cases, considering the unique aspects of AI/ML systems.
• Perform thorough functional, regression, and browser compatibility testing across various platforms and browsers.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, ensuring clear and concise reporting with steps to reproduce and impact analysis.
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans and test cases, within Confluence.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results, integrating automation into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA personnel to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely resolution of issues.
• Proactively identify and escalate critical issues, blockers, and risks, proposing mitigation plans to minimize project impact.
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and new trends in software testing, particularly in automation and AI testing.
• Assess AI systems for ethical considerations and potential biases, ensuring fairness and transparency.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Automation Tester in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, including both manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools, specifically Jira.
• Experience with Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in designing and executing functional test cases.
• at-least 2 years of experience in automation testing concepts and experience with developing automated test scripts (e.g., using Selenium or other frameworks)
• Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals and how AI models are built, trained, and deployed.
• Understanding of AI testing concepts, including data quality assurance for AI and bias detection.
• Knowledge of AI-driven testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications are a plus.
